How Will the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius Affect You?
Big astrological changes take place on December 21, 2020, as Jupiter and Saturn take part in a Great Conjunction in the fixed air sign of future oriented and humanitarian minded Aquarius. The conjunction of Jupiter — a planet associated with growth and abundance — and Saturn — a planet of work and structure happens on regular cycle of approximately every 20 years, but several things make this particular event special. According to EarthSky.org, “The 2020 great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn will be the closest since 1623 and the closest observable since 1226! 2020’s extra-close Jupiter-Saturn conjunction won’t be matched again until the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of March 15, 2080.” Wow! And the last conjunction of these two planets in the sign of Aquarius was in 1405. Although they will be close enough together to impact you for weeks, they are precisely as close as they will be on the Winter Solstice — a turning point when we move from increasing dark to increasing light.
