Moon transiting Aquarius, Wednesday, January 1st, sets a tone of activism, transformation, and empowerment of the people enacted through communication, community, and creativity, which can lead to improvement in society and in your personal life, as the moon joins Pluto in Aquarius, and together, they form a trine aspect with Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, a Minor Grand Trine aspect pattern with Uranus retrograde in Taurus, and Neptune in Pisces, conjunct the North Node in Aries, and an opposition to Mars retrograde in Leo. It seems to be human nature to resist cooperative efforts and affirmative action unless there is an imminent threat or a problem big enough that it requires letting go of small minded thinking, so the volatile and pressure producing opposition between Mars and Pluto will provide plenty of situations, both personal and global, requiring a more creative and empowering response to the threat or pressure, now, and for many months ahead. When you are faced with challenges or opportunities, a mutable T-square of Mercury in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Gemini, and Saturn in Pisces indicates they can be one and the same — challenging opportunities, or opportunities to be challenging — in the year ahead. The sun in Capricorn square to Chiron in Aries, but quincunx to Jupiter, and sextile to Saturn, indicates that whatever you place your attention on routinely will grow, so choose wisely. Non-productive or non-supportive subjects, activities, or relationships will make it harder for you to be your best. Neptune and the North Node are highlighting the importance of maintaining faith, hope, and a vision of a better life that is worth striving for — for you, and for all.
