Moon in Scorpio, Saturday, February 15, swings the pendulum to the other extreme as it squares the sun in Aquarius, setting the tone for separation and withdrawal as strongly as yesterday’s water Grand Trine created an atmosphere of closeness and inclusion. If you are hoping to extend the romance of Valentine’s Day to the entire weekend, you may want to include some breathing room and time to miss each other, or some of that rosy glow will fade like yesterday’s flowers. Transiting Mars in Sagittarius is at it’s final degree before it enters Capricorn tomorrow, which can increase stress, irritability, and the urge to take action. Mars also forms a T-square with Chiron conjunct Venus in Aries, and the North Node in Cancer, and is trine to Uranus, which can lead to cold feet and questions around the loss of freedom or options in choosing commitment. Mercury in Pisces is about to retrograde, which can make you rethink things. The moon trine to Mercury and Neptune in Pisces, and sextile to Pluto conjunct Saturn in Capricorn, does support long term love, promises, and making memories together, but if the dominating independent aspects today reveal too many differences in dreams and goals, and too many cracks in the foundation of the relationship, be grateful for the timely revelation and let go.
