Some may have an early start to a long day. Sagittarius rules the 9th house, which is a communication and travel house, so the lunar transit today will add a sense of anticipation and adventure to holiday travel. Later in the day, energy levels drop, but a leisurely lunch, a short nap, or a break from the rushing around can bring a second wind that can see you through a social evening. While the Sagittarius moon is putting everyone in high spirits and a partying mood, the moon/Neptune square can easily cause people to lose track of how much they have had to drink, and under the building tension of an approaching New Moon, emotions could swing wildly under the influence of alcohol.
