Moon in Pisces, Friday, September 13, stimulates spiritual contemplation and possible romantic yearning as the moon joins Neptune in Pisces. Neptune — a planet of beauty, healing, and inspiration — is ruled by Pisces, and governs the 12th house — a house of the subconscious, the collective consciousness of society, other planes of existence, intuition, and places of retreat, healing, or isolation from the mainstream. When I was five, I was visited by my grandmother in spirit upon her passing. Around the same time, I saw a cat’s spirit depart after being hit by a car. One night, while crying and trying to make sense of death, I was taken outside of my body into space by an unseen presence and shown what I now know to be an infinity symbol, made of light, and was filled with a “peace that passes all understanding”, which I long to return to. The moon will be full on the 14th, just past midnight tonight. The shadow side of Neptune/Pisces energy is escapism and misuse of anything that can become an addiction that takes the place of authentic love. The highest potential at this full moon is transcendence and spiritual awakening. Besides bestowing the energy of visionary, healer, artist, or lover, Pisces/Neptune can influence you to play the role of victim, savior, or martyr, but you can choose to change your role. The moon/Neptune conjunction tied into a Mystic Rectangle of Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn, Mars/sun/Mercury/Venus in Virgo, and the North Node in Cancer helps you see where you must clear karmic patterns or commit to a path that feels true to your soul.
