Moon in Libra to Scorpio, Thursday, February 13, is an enigmatic day where following your own impulses and personal values may be better than accepting arbitrary limitations and repression. The supportive lunar aspects are a trine to the sun in independent Aquarius, and a sextile to Mars in questing Sagittarius, with Mars also sextile to the sun and trine to Uranus in Taurus, encouraging the use of all your senses as a tool for exploration and self discovery. Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces sextile to Jupiter in Capricorn stimulates imagination, and artistic expression of any kind can have a spiritual or ritualistic purpose for the growth of your soul. The challenge of the day comes from the moon square to Saturn conjunct Pluto, the moon opposing Uranus, and Venus conjunct Chiron in Aries square to Mars — the combination of which can make you fear criticism for being different, initiating changes, or enjoying life. This painting by Heironymus Bosch has always fascinated me. Some interpretors say it warns against lustleading to sin, while another says that it represents innocence, joy, and union with nature in paradise before the fall of man. Perhaps the enduring mystery of this piece of art is due to the differing judgement of the observers, and perhaps situations in your life that seem as unclear as a Bosch painting can be changed if you shift your perspective.
