Moon in Capricorn, Thursday, November 28, brings tradition, formality, and structured purpose to the Thanksgiving holiday as the moon joins Venus in Capricorn, and opposes the North Node in Cancer. There is room for change or the adopting of something or someone new into your usual holiday activities, as the moon forms a trine to Uranus in Taurus, and a sextile to Mars in Scorpio. However you spend your day, old memories are shared as new memories are made while Mercury in Scorpio forms a trine to Neptune in Pisces. Both Mercury and Neptune form sextile aspects to Saturn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn, which can have a strong effect on challenging family dynamics, enabling maturity and self control to take the upper hand. The difficult relatives may not be all that bad today, or you simply decide to not allow them to have control over your emotions. Jupiter in the final degree of Sagittarius sextile to Mars helps you keep the smile on your face and your temper under control as you you realize everyone gets their karmic lessons in due time. Surprisingly, someone may have changed, or your persepctive of them — or the issue — shifts, as the sun in Sagittarius creates a Yod aspect pattern with the North Node and Uranus. When it comes to holiday shopping, the various aspects from Uranus, to Mars, sun, and moon, as well as the moon square to Chiron in Aries, indicate Internet shopping may beat out in-store visits as people choose to do more constructive things with their time than battle over material goods in the aisles. One large needed gift, or the gift of financial support, rather than lots of smaller gifts is the astrological trend. The gift of time spent together in a shared activity has more lasting value than another sweater.
