Moon in Cancer, Tuesday, February 23, creates an atmosphere of ease and a sense of security where gullibility and naivety can be easily exploited as the moon forms a trine to Neptune in Pisces, a quincunx aspect to Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius, and a sextile to Mars in Taurus. Usually, I try to associate planetary aspects with probable influence in the hope that you learn about astrology as you read, but there are too many aspects in effect today to write about in detail, so I will get right to the point in a summary. Everyone feels — or wants to feel — that they are special and unique now, deserving of attention or material reward, but not everyone can see agendas or consequences. If something looks too good to be true, it might be, and it would behoove you to do the sideways crab walk while the Cancer moon transit offers self protective defense. On the positive side, if you have something to market to others, you can play upon emotions to make a sale. As the moon enters an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn tonight, you become aware of the cost of getting what you want, or manipulating others, but the squares between Venus and Mars, and Saturn and Uranus, indicate that whether you like the outcome or not, it is what it is, and it could be challenging to change a situation once you have made a choice.
