Moon in Cancer, Monday, September 23, carries most of yesterday’s feelings and issues forward as the transiting cardinal water sign moon conjunct the North Node in Cancer still forms a cardinal T-square with Mercury and Venus in Libra, and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Yesterday focused on decision making, and today you will follow through with action, while the moon forms a sextile to Mars in Virgo. It is a good time to make assertive or defensive moves while Mars is trine to Pluto, and necessity gives you the drive to follow through on your intentions. The sun enters Libra as summer ends and autumn begins. The sun in Libra, the sign which rules the kidneys, opposing Chiron in Aries, the sign which rules the head, suggest a change of season cleanse and plenty of water to bolster your immune system. For many people, the pollen and mold of the fall, and more time spent in heated buildings, worsens allergies or triggers head colds. Is it a coincidence that elderberries, which are used to treat colds, flu, sinusitis, and the immune system, ripen in the late summer and early fall? Nature has a knack of providing us with nutritional support at the right time. Although the cardinal T-square and Mars can make interactions with others stressful, there are gentler aspects of courtesy and forgiveness, such as Mercury/Venus sextile to Jupiter in Sagittarius and quincunx Neptune in Pisces, helping to tame those cardinal claws. Conflict or competition that results in a winner and a loser can be engaged in fairly and concluded gracefully.
